Children Action Trust is at Rajaji Main Road in Pudupakkam Village in Kanchipuram District. Started in 1994, this registered non profit voluntary organization aims at the betterment of the poor children in Tamil Nadu.
The organization provides education to the poor and rural children. There is a nursery and primary school. Holiday camps are arranged. Women are encouraged to save money. Also, the organization runs a vocational-cum-production unit where the village girls are trained in cane furniture making. The organization invites individuals to be sponsors for the children, volunteers or corporate partners.
