Chidambaram Central Bus Station

Chidambaram Central Bus Station is a short walk from the Chidambaram Railway Station and close to the Nataraja Temple (famous for the Natyanjali festival.) The station operates buses connecting Chidambaram to all major towns such as Chennai, Pondicherry, Madurai and Thanjavur.

The airport close to Chidambaram is Tiruchirapalli Airport (160 km).

Adjacent to the bus station are Saradharam Hotel and Hotel Akshaya which offer excellent and comfortable accommodation.

Kali Temple and Tarangambadi Fort are nearby tourist places.
