Chennai Mathematical Institute

Chennai Mathematical Institute (CMI) offers excellent teaching and research facilities in mathematics and computer science. It was established in 1989. Post graduation and under graduation programmes in physics, mathematics, and computer science are imparted. Various academic seminars and conferences are also organized. The college library has a wide collection of books, journals, and periodicals on the related subjects.

Plans for a new campus are ready and the construction of the first phase has begun. The campus has been designed by the well-known architect K.S.Ranganath. The first phase of the new campus should be operational in July, 2005.
