Chandrapur

Chandrapur is a small town situated 15 km away from Guwahati. It is surrounded by Dimoria in the north-east and Guwahati in the south-west. The climate of the town ranges from humid to sub-tropic. Brahmaputra River flows close to the town. The presence of Brahmaputra River and the natural beauty of the town attract several people from outside the district for picnic.
