Central Institute of English and Foreign Languages (CIEFL), an autonomous institution and a Deemed University, is situated at Hyderabad.
It conducts academic programmes in English, Arabic, French, German, Japanese, Russian and Spanish.
The Ramesh Mohan Library (RML) of the institute has over 1,18,000 books in the areas of English and foreign languages and their literatures. The collection includes a wide range of books on Indological literature.
The publication and sale of the books and journals by the institute are maintained by the Publications Unit of the institute. Research monographs, scholarly works, textbooks in English for schools and colleges, graded supplementary readers and textbooks and reference books in Foreign Languages are the publications. Besides, the institute publishes three half-yearly journals and an annual journal. Books, journals and pre-recorded cassettes are available for sale at the unit.
The institute also has locations at Lucknow, (Uttar Pradesh) and Shillong, (Meghalaya).
