Burdan Monastery is an ancient monastery located at Burdan in Leh District of Jammu and Kashmir. It is about 12 km from Padum on the route to Manali.
This splendidly set monastery houses many idols and stupas made of clay, bronze, copper and wood. It has a large assembly hall.
Karsha Monastery, the 11th century monastery, is a nearby attraction.
Burdan Monastery is also easily accessible from Zanskar (10 km). Nearest railway station is the Jammu Tawi Railway Station.
