Bijapur Castle



Bijapur Castle is a 16th century castle situated at Bijapur, in Karnataka. It was built by Rao Shakti Singh, the younger brother of Maharana Pratap Singh. The castle now functions as a heritage hotel run by the Bijapur royal family.

Bijapur Castle offers excellent lodging facility with an option of jeep safari to the nearby villages to enjoy the traditional Mewar hospitality. The castle attracts tourists with its ideal location right next to a wildlife sanctuary where leopards and wild boar, blue bulls and spotted deer roam free.
