Bhumkodaar is a picturesque village situated two km from Bhelbagi in Tehri Garhwal District. It lies on the Khatling Glacier trek route in the Bhilganga Valley. Bhumkodaar nestles among forests of giant conifers, oak and pine. Prime attraction of the village is a cave covered with thick bushes. Bhumkodaar offers panoramic views of the Jogin Peaks and the Khatling Peak. Nearby interesting destinations include Ghuttu, Gangi, Khatling Cave, Kharsali and Tamakund. Bhumkodaar is an ideal base for trekking and mountaineering. Base camps are available.
