Bhrigu Rishi Temple



Situated on the banks of the Narmada River, the Bhrigu Rishi Temple is one of the famous temples in Gujarat. The city Bharuch got its name from this temple. The temple walls, built between 1675 and 1686, were constructed by the Marathas. Dedicated to Bhrigu, a mythological saint, the temple attracts large number of devotees. The 14th century Jama Masjid is the nearby attraction.

Nearest railhead and airport is at Vadodara.
