Bhoo Varaha Homa

Bhoo Varaha Homa is performed to appease Lord Vishnu - the preserver of the world - in order to eliminate the ill effects of not constructing a house according to the tenets of the Vaastu Shastra.

It is believed that houses not built according to Vaastu will invite various problems such as diseases, marital disharmony, problems in the family and loss in business. Performing the Bhoo Varaha Homa is believed to overcome all these problems.

It is also performed as a part of Grihapravesa (house warming) ceremonies for the overall happiness of those who live in the house.
