Bhasme is located in East Sikkim District and lies near the district�s border with West Bengal. It is about 25 km south of Gangtok.

Rangpochu, a major river in the state, flows nearby.

Civil Enclave Bagdogra is the nearest airport and Darjeeling Railway Station is the convenient railway station.
