Bhanga is a small town in Karimganj District. It is about 15 km from Karimganj. The river Barak splits into the Surma and the Kushiyara at this town. Some of the important places nearby are Mahakal in the west, Baragata and Kalain in the north, Bardarpur in the east and Hailakandi in the south.
