Bhairon Temple is situated near the town of Katra in Udhampur District in Jammu and Kashmir. It is dedicated to Goddess Durga.
It is believed that the demon Bhairon was killed by Goddess Durga here. The demon was forgiven of his sins after he was killed. There is a huge stone outside this cave temple representing the demon.
This temple is situated 3 km from the famous Vaishno Devi temple. It is a tradition to visit this temple before proceeding to Vaishno Devi temple.
