Bhadal Glacier which feeds the Bhadal River is located on the south -western slopes of the
Pir Panjal range in the Bara Banghal area of Kangra District, Himachal Pradesh.
The size of the glacier suddenly grows up because of rapid and heavy snowfall. The catchments area of the Bhadal River is made up of ‘U’ shaped valleys, waterfalls, moraines, cirques and towering peaks.
