Beerwah

Beerwah is a sub divisional town in Badgam District, located about 35 km south-west of Srinagar. It is believed that Guru Nanak had visited this place in the early years of the 16th century. Beerwah is enriched with all the natural features of Jammu and Kashmir. A Sikh shrine, Gurdwara Shri Guru Nanak Charan Asthan Dukhnivaran, located here was renovated in 1975. Situated on the banks of the famous Sukhnag Spring, the gurdwara has a divan hall and sanctum in the middle.

Abno Gupta's cave is another attraction in the vicinity of Beerwah. Srinagar Airport is the nearest airport.
