Batahar

Batahar is a small settlement in Srinagar District of Jammu and Kashmir. It lies at a height of about 5,144 ft above sea level. Nearby places are Zurigund in the west, Dooru in the north, Mohandpura in the east and Ompura in the south.

One can also reach this place from Srinagar (16 km) – the district headquarters. Udhampur Railway Station serves Batahar.
