Barsu



Perched at an altitude of about 5,088 ft above sea level, Barsu is a small village in Pulwama District of Jammu and Kashmir. It is about 17 km from Srinagar.

River Jhelum, flowing through the valley of Kashmir, cut its way near this village. Khir Bhawani Temple is a nearby attraction. Barsu is bounded by Krahom in the west, Dialri in the north, Wandahom in the east and Zarigund in the south.

Barsu can be easily accessed from major towns of the state as National Highway 1A passes through this place.
