Barbarua Maidam is situated 14 km south of Dibrugarh near National Highway 37. There are two big graveyards raised for BuraDihinigia Barbarua and DekaDihingia Barbarua, high-ranking officials of the Ahoms. Other small 'maidams' at the site are believed to be the graveyards of the dead soldiers.
