Baraunda

Baraunda is a northern-most town in the Satna District of Madhya Pradesh. It is around 22 km west of Majhgawan and 25 km east of Dharampura. The nearest major city is Allahabad, around 140 km away.

Birsinghpur Shiva Temple and the bauxite mines near Birsinghpur and Jaitwara are situated in the neighborhood.
