Situated on the Indo-Bangladesh border, Bangaon Railway Station falls on the Sealdah division of the Eastern Railways. The station is on the Ranaghat-Chandpara railway line.
Majhergram Railway Station is situated to the north-west of Bangaon. Going south, Chandpara Railway Station is the nearest main station.
