Banganga is one of the holy places in
Shivpuri District of
Madhya Pradesh. The place consists of 52 sacred kunds.
The mythological warrior Arjuna, one of the Pandava brothers, took out the water from the earth by his arrow to quench the thirst of Bhishma at the time of Mahabharat. A large number of devotees visit here throughout the year.
