Bangalore Turf Club Hanuman Temple




Hanuman Temple is a 150 year old temple located near the main entrance of the Bangalore Turf Club building in Bangalore. The temple is dedicated to Lord Hanuman, the monkey god, a noble hero and a great devotee of Lord Ram.

The shrine, a fusion of the Hoysala style architecture of Mysore and the Chandela style architecture of Madhya Pradesh, is designed with a lotus-flower shaped foundation. The walls of the temples are adorned with beautiful sculptures depicting the episodes from the Ramayana and Mahabharata.
