and other images, belonging to the 8th century, scattered around the hillock reveals that this was once a most important Buddhist establishment in medieval Orissa
The different Tara
images found here reveals the existence of plastic art in Orissa. The images unearthed from this place have been shifted to the Orissa State Museum
and the Patna Museum
for preservation and display.
