Banaswadi



Banaswadi, a suburb in Bangalore, is in the north-eastern side of the city. It is adjacent to Cox town and Kamanahalli. Banaswadi has got its own railway station. The Banaswadi Main road that passes through Banaswadi, stretches towards Hennur.

An Ayyappa temple is situated in Banaswadi. Many industries, including the ITC (Indian Tobacco Company) flourish in this place. Banaswadi is considered an economical residential township. The St Thomas Orthodox Church is located here. Banaswadi has many schools and colleges including, TES Polytechnic. Frequent buses connect Banaswadi to other parts of Bangalore. The ‘outer ring road’ passes via Banaswadi.

Bangalore International Airport is the nearest airport.
