Avvaiyaarammankoil

Avvaiyaarammankoil village is a treasure trove of breathtaking scenery. This lovely hamlet is situated 10 km south of Kurathiyarai on the way from Bhoothapandy to Aralvaimozhi in Kanyakumari District. The place got its name from the shrine dedicated to the poetess Avvaiyaar. Many devotees visit this temple and pay homage to Avvaiyaar, the presiding deity.
