Ashapura Mata Fair is celebrated at Bidhda in Kutch District of Gujarat. This fair is held on the day of Navratri and is witnessed by thousands of people from the nearby places including Mumbai and Jamnagar.
On this occasion, a ceremonial sacrifice procedure is undertaken by a member of the royal family and after the sacrifice he carries white flap made of cow’s hair from Chachar Kund and visits the temple for worship.
