Asan Barrage Water Sports Resort is at the foothills of the Shivalik hills and on the bank of the river Yamuna, in Dakpathar. It is around 4 km from Asan Barrage and 43 km from Dehradun on Chandigarh-Shimla highway.
The resort provides facilities like water skiing, boating, rowing, kayaking and canoeing. Powerboats and hovercrafts are arranged for tourists. Another attraction is the migrated birds, which can be seen here during the winter season. Tourist Bungalow, private hotels and restaurants are available for stay.
