Located in Patiala, the Art Gallery at Sheesh Mahal is a repository of miniature paintings and paintings in kangra, Rajasthan and Patiala styles. The prime attraction is Medal Gallery, which houses an awesome collection of more than 3,000 medals and coins from across the world, dating from the 12th to the 20th centuries. Apart from this, there is a special section for Tibetan arts and artifacts. Among the rare collections are antique jewels and costumes, portraits, Chinese mirrors, statues and weapons. These collectibles are fabulous insight into the life and times of Maharajas of Patiala.
