Apti lies on the state highway connecting Mahad and Bhor, in Pune District. The village is quite near the district’s border with Satara and Raigad districts. Pune, the district headquarters, is about 50 km north of Apti.
Bhatghar Lake, Mahabaleshwar, Purandhar Fort, Khadakwasla Lake and Kaas Lake are within easy access. Jejuri and Baneshwar Temple are two pilgrim spots nearby.
Pune Lohegaon Airport serves Apti.
