Antarvedi Fair

Antarvedi Fair is a big fair celebrated at Antarvedi, which is 20 km south-west of Razole in East Godavari District. It takes place at the Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple. This fair is held on the Bhishma Ekadasi day in the month of January-February.

People from all over the state come here to take a holy dip in the Sapta Sagara Sangama Pradesam, the confluence of the Bay of Bengal and the Vasishta Godavari (one of the seven branches of Godavari River). It is believed that taking bath here will wash-off one's sins.

All kinds of tea stalls, sweet shops and refreshment stands are spotted on the way that leads up to the temple.
