Ando is a small village in Kargil District of Jammu and Kashmir. It is about 150 km from Srinagar - the state capital and is to the south-east of Kargil. Positioned at a height of 9,366 ft, Ando is an ideal base for trekkers on their trail to the Great Himalayas. Ando is well linked with Baru, Mangmur, Tharumsa and Raung.
Ando can be approached from Kargil, on the route which leads to Shergol. It can also be reached from Pahalgam.
