Amravaneswarar-Maanturaiappar Temple is located at Lalgudi, Tiruchirapalli District. The temple deity is Amravaneswarar and the goddess is Azhagammai. The Stala Teertham is Gayatri Nadi and the Sthala Vriksham (sacred tree) is Maamaram. The temple houses inscriptions from the Chola period. The legend associated with the temple is depicted here. Saint Sambandar is said to have visited here and composed padigams in praise of the lord.
