Alpather

Alpather is a small meadow located near Gulmarg in Baramulla District, Jammu and Kashmir. This picturesque place is at the base of the Apharwat peak. It is an excellent place for excursions, especially for those who fancy horse-riding. The main attraction of the place is the beautiful blue lake, Alpather Lake. A skating ground and the Gulmarg Biosphere Reserve are the nearby tourist spots.
