Allahabad Central Bus Station

Allahabad Central Bus Station (Civil Lines Bus Stand) is situated in the city center. It is connected to National Highways 2 and 27. Also, the city boasts two other UPSRTC bus stations - the UPSRTC Bus Stand at Leader Road and UPSRTC Bus Stand at Zero Road. Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (UPSRTC) operates buses to all major cities in the state. Buses ply from Allahabad to Agra, Jhansi, Lucknow, Varanasi, Meerut, New Delhi, Patna, Muzaffarpur, Rewa, Sasaram, Kanpur and Gwalior.

Allahabad Junction Railway Station is a short walk from the bus station. The airports close to the station are Varanasi Airport (120 km) and Lucknow Amausi Airport (200 km.)

UPSTDC Tourist Bungalow and Presidency are nearby accommodations. Hanuman Temple, Shanker Viman Mandapam, Patalpuri Temple, Madan Mohan Malviya Park (Minto Park) and Bharadwaj Ashram are all at a short distance.

Local travel is by means of auto-rickshaws, cycle-rickshaws, chauffeur driven private cars and taxis.
