Agastyaswamy Temple




Agastyaswamy Temple is 12 km from Tirupati in Chittoor District. It lies at the confluence of the Swarnamukhi, Bhima and Kalyan rivers. Three beautifully sculptured entrances enhance the beauty of the temple.

The temple has a separate shrine for Goddess Parvati. A mandapam is situated in the middle of the river, facing the temple. It has the deities of Balaji, Ayyappa and Ganapathi (Ganesh). Besides, a small temple dedicated to Ram, Sita, Lakshman and Anjaneya (Lord Hanuman) is located near the tank.
