Adai is a south Indian dish. Its ingredients are rice, yellow gram, black gram, Bengal gram, grated coconut, chopped cabbage, onions, asafoetida, curry leaves, oil, turmeric, salt and pepper. Adai is usually made on a non-stick dosa pan. Rava adai, egg adai,and rajma adai are various versions of this dish. Adai is best served hot with chutney.
