Nestled in the middle of lush green countryside of Kanakapura, Achchalu Betta is a towering rocky hill in the Bangalore Rural District of Karnataka. The isolated hilltop offers a panoramic view of the surrounding landscape dotted with numerous rocky hills, lush green fields and small dainty villages. The hill can be reached by a flight of rock-cut steps. The Muneshwara Temple inside a small cave on top of the hill and a modern cement sculpture of Nandi at the edge of the peak are the main attractions.
