Rangit Valley sprawls across Darjeeling District of West Bengal. The Darjeeling - Rangit Valley Ropeway, also known as North point Passenger Ropeway, is the first passenger ropeway in India and it links Darjeeling with Singla Bazaar. The Rangit valley is separated from the Teesta Valley, across the middle, by a north-south ridge of lesser elevation.
