Ganadevta Express



Ganadevta Express runs between Howrah Railway Station and Rampurhat railway station. (Rampurhat is sometimes spelt Rampur Hat.) Both stations are located in West Bengal. It was formerly known as Howrah-Rampurhat Express. The train is named after ‘Ganadevata,’ a popular novel written by the late Tara Shankar Bandopadhyaya. It operates daily and covers a distance of 219 km. Bandel, Bardhaman and Bolpur are the main towns on the way. A/C chair car and second seating coaches are available.

Train number 3017: Howrah to Rampurhat, leaves Howrah at 06:05 hrs.
Train number 3018: Rampurhat to Howrah, leaves Rampurhat at 17:10 hrs.
