Lipulekh Pass




Lipulekh Pass, situated at an altitude of 5,122 m, is in the Kumaon region of Pithoragarh District. The pass is an ideal base for trekking. By crossing the pass one can reach the Vyas Valley that was once part of the old silk route. The pass is the last point in Indian Territory on the Indo-China border. The Kailash Mansarovar Yatra groups follow this route to China. The other nearby passes of Kumaon region includes Lampiya Dhura, Nuwe Dhura, Lowe Dhura, Unta Dhura, Jayanti and Kungri Bingri.
