Tirumagaral is one of the Shivasthalam in Tamil Nadu. It is situated 15 km south of Kanchipuram in Kanchipuram District. The place situated is on the northern banks of the Cheyyar River. The prime attraction of the place is the Maakaraleeswarar Temple. Ideal time to visit here is during the annual festival conducted in the month of February.
