One of the oldest village of India with a history dating back to 1500 years, Pattiveeranpatti is situated on the plains to the east of the Palani Hills in Dindigul District, Tamil Nadu. Spanning around three sq km, the village is famous for cardamom and coffee of good quality. It also has flourishing industry which gives employment to a lot of people.
Sevugampatti is situated in the north-east, Nilakottai in the south-east, Ammayanaickanur in the east, Batlagundu in the south and Ganguvarpatti in the west. Kodaikanal is a nearby attraction. Pathrakali Amman Temple and Mariyamman Temple attract pilgrims in large numbers.

Pattiveeranpatti is linked by road to Dindigul, Thandikudi, Batlagundu and Kodaikanal.
The nearest airport is Madurai Airport. Kodaikanal Road Railway Station (Kodai Road) serves Pattiveeranpatti.
