Mandal is 13 km away from
Bhilwara. A picturesque lake at a dam site with boating facilities, a small fort, and an old temple of Nil Kanth Mahadev are some of the places of interest. The dam has been constructed on river Kothari. Bagor, a village 30 km north of Mandal, is a place of historical importance.
Mandal is connected by road with Bhilwara which in turn is connected by rail to Delhi, Udaipur, Indore,
Khandwa,
Ratlam, Jaipur,
Ajmer, and Ahmedabad.
