Darrah Sanctuary




Darrah Sanctuary is about 50 km from Kota, Rajasthan. Earlier it was the hunting ground of the Kota maharajas. Spread over 250 sq km of dry forest, the sanctuary is home to panther, wolf, sloth bear, chinkara and leopard. Chambal, Kalisindh, Amjhar and Ahu Rivers adds charm to this sanctuary.

The best time to visit is October to June.

Kota Airport and Kota Junction Railway Station are the nearest accessible points.
