Brahmani Mataji Mela is held at the old fort near Sorsan, about 20 km from Baran, in Rajasthan. It is organized during the Hindu month of Magh Shukla Saptami (January-February) and is the only donkey fair in the whole Handoti Region. A large number of animals are brought here for buying and selling.
