Banas River



Banas, a major tributary of River Chambal, rises near the Khamnor hills of Aravali range and flows through Rajasthan. It meets the Chambal River near Rameshwar in Khandar Block in Sawai Madhopur District. The total length is about 512 km. Major tributaries are Berach and Menali on the right, and Kothari, Khari, Dai, Dheel, Sohadara, Morel and Kalisil on the left.
