Coromandel Express



Coromandel Express runs between Howrah Railway Station in West Bengal and Chennai Central Railway Station in Tamil Nadu. 'Coromandel’ is the eastern coastal region of India. The train connects Kolkata, the main commercial and industrial center of eastern India, to Chennai, the Gateway to South India. Main towns on the way are Cuttack, Bhubaneswar, Berhampur, Visakhapatnam, Rajahmundry and Vijayawada.

First A/C, Second A/C, Third A/C and sleeper Class facilities are available. The train operates daily and covers a distance of 1,663 km.

Train number 2841: Howrah to Chennai, leaves Howrah at 14:25 hrs.
Train number 2842: Chennai to Howrah, leaves Chennai at 09:05 hrs.
