Lubha Bridge is one of the longest span bridges in India. It is a single span concrete bridge, over the turbulent Lubha River, on the National Highway 44 in Shillong. This 134 m bridge links the Brahmaputra valley of lower Assam and the Barak Valley of Cachar. Thus the Lubha Bridge virtually connects the states of Mizoram and Tripura with Assam through Meghalaya.
Narpuh Reserve Forest covers the either side of the bridge. The Lubha Bridge is very near to the India-Bangladesh border. Tourists can enjoy the delicious Lubha fish in many eating houses at Sonapur, about 1 km from the bridge.
