Dharashiv Caves

Dharashiv Caves is situated about six kilometers from Osmanabad, in Maharashtra. It is a group of seven Buddhist caves situated in the Balghat Mountain lane. These caves, dating back to 6th century, were later converted into monuments.

The first cave is a small open space without any statue while the second cave houses a statue bearing the artistic work of Gandharva era. The fourth cave is also a free open space. The statue in the sixth cave stands damaged.
