Nariman Point




Situated at the southern tip of Marine Drive in Mumbai, Nariman Point is India’s answer to Manhattan. The high rise buildings around houses the headquarters of the top notch industrial houses in the country. It is a kilometer south of Churchgate.

In 1995, this piece of land reclaimed from sea recorded the highest commercial real estate rental space in the world at 175$ per sq ft. Nariman Point derives its name after Mr Khurshid Nariman, a Bombay Municipal Corporation corporator, who had conceived and realised the reclaimation of the proposed land near Churchgate in the mid 20th century.

Maharashtra Legislative Assembly and Vidhan Sabha, British and Oman Consulates and Air India headquarters are located here.

Oberoi Hotel and Hilton Towers are two top end hotels located at Nariman Point.

Nearest railway station is at Churchgate.

Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport is about 27 km north. Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus Railway Station is around 6 km east.
